I have seen several reports of problems with the 2.95.2 toolchain for
ARM/Linux.

The message about get_param system_rev can probably be ignored. It should
probably be ifdef'd out for the Assabet unless there is a way the bootldr
can detect what rev the assabet is. It soudns like that would be a useful
feature if someone knows how to implement it.

I have no idea what is going wrong, but I recommend using a well-tested
toolchain, such as the one available on handhelds.org.
