Has anyone else had trouble with the assabet backlight? My board has a
power supply for it, but if I turn it on (with the kmod), it sometimes makes
the device unstable. I read an earlier archive post concerning this, where
it was said to be the results of a power spike when the backlight turned on.
The solution given was to connect the battery, which supposedlly provided
enough stable juice to run it. This works MOST of the time for me. Is Intel
support aware of this issue?
