I'm not sure about this (haven't done the investigation yet), but I think
there may be a problem with the driver.

Believe it or not, one of my Assabet LP-E flash cards is my NIC connected
to my ADSL modem.  Connecting out to the net seems 100% fine - everything
is smooth.  Unfortunately, connecting in from the net, packets seem to get
dropped regularly (eg, mutt screen updates happen in two noticable stages).

I'll get around to investigating it sometime...  (note that this probably
explains why it takes 6 seconds for the machine list page to be displayed
on the website).
