Got the sources and configured the config.mk file but I get the error 
listed below when I build. Can you think of anything obvious that I might 
have overlooked?

I also tried applied the patch bootldr-jd[12].patch however they made no 
difference to the result; both patches failed a lot which seems to indicate 
that they weren't for this release
