linux kernel 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 make menuconfig doesn't
work!!!!
I modified the Makefile, changed ARCH := $(shell uname
-u......) to ARCH=arm, also I tried to change that to
ARCH:=arm. Both of the changes can't let make
menuconfig work correctly.
the menuconfig only display 3 selections:
----
Load an Alternate Configuration File
Save ......
but kernel 2.4.2 has more selection, for example has
the 'system and processor type' selction and can
config the system, but now they are missing.
I compare the arch/arm/config.in files, big changes
were applied to the new kernel. Is there anyone knows
if it is a bug? and how to fix it?
