On reading the pages , I found that the configuration is
almost forced on the MDCAS registers. For eg . suppose
I want to program Trcd as 8 * Tcpu then the least
sugnificant 7 bits of MDCAS0 must be 1111111.
After this a zero and then a sequence of 01 should follow.(10.2.3.2 Note:)

This is to be followed in MDCAS01 and MDCAS02 since they are appended to the
contents of MDCAS0. Thus there is no choice of programming these registers.
Moreover for burst mode to be enabled the MRS comamnd has to be given to the
SDRAM . How to do this ? Or is it a fact that there is only burst of 1 in
SA1110?
Hari

Has anyone enabled burst mode for SDRAM?
> I couldn't find it any where in the SA1110 manual .
10.2.3.2 MDCAS Registers with SDRAM and SMROM I think the burst is defined by the
waveform you program
in MDCASx. I decline responsability though, because I don't
fully understand that chapter...
HTH anyway,
Yves
