Hi,
I am new for building cross compiler. Now trying to build it for XScale
IQ80310 board.
In the process, I was successful building binutils and gcc. While trying to
configure the glibc, I got this problem which I really don't understand.
After few messages during configure process, it stops saying...
"checking whether we are using GNU C... no"
"Configure: error: GNU libc must be compiled using GNU CC".
What should I do to get rid of this and go on smoothly.
I am using the following versions/files.
linux-2.4.2.tar.gz
patch-2.4.2-rmk1.gz
patch-2.4.2-rmk1-xs2.gz
binutils-2.11.tar.gz
gcc-2.95.3.tar.gz
glibc-2.2.2.tar.gz
glibc-linuxthreads-2.2.2.tar.gz
$TARGET_NAME = arm-linux
Any help in this regard would be really really great.
