At this point, I'm pretty depressed about the level of workingness on
the D boards, Redboot, and Linux.
My D board seems to differ from others.
The Redboot that I have on my D board, works 'mostly', but fails sufficiently
to be obnoxious.
My 2.4.2 based version works, but a number of programs cause segmentation
faults. Bash being the most notable, ash works always.
I do have our hardware implementation up to the point of being able
to do telnet login and the like, however, the Cyclone board has proved
unreliable
in achieving this level of workingness.

As of a conversation a few hours ago, I got the impression that the F
boards are still not shipping. If they are, the person was not able to
say that with certainty.

I don't use 'x-modem' so I don't know why it may not work. I used
an early version of cygmon which used 'gdb' to download a set of code.
However, as my code+ramdisk grew, I found using the ethernet, even
with failures to be faster than the cygmon gdb method.
