Hi,

Today I moved from kernel 2.4.1-rmk1 to 2.4.5-rmk7 and noted an assembler
error in one of my files. The file use the assembler instruction 'bx lr'
which did not fly. I noted that the Makefile for arch/arm/ had changed in
2.4.2-rmk2 replacing

        AFLAGS += $(apcs-y) $(proc-y) -mno-fpu

with

        AFLAGS += $(apcs-y) $(arch-y) -mno-fpu -msoft-float

(proc-y eveluates to -marmv4 and archy to -march=armv4 on my system)

The file assembles with the old AFLAGS but not with the new. Any clues
anyone?

Regards,
Johan Nsholm
