Could it be the mouse that I'm using that's causing the problem ?
I'm using a Microsoft IntelliMouse - 1.2A (PS/2 Compatible).
I've created a charcter device /dev/psaux using the following command:
mknod /dev/psaux c 10 1
I'm using a modified ramdisk_ks (by Nicolas Pitre).
Thanks for your help,
Idan.

That basically means that we tried to send some data to the mouse, but
the mouse rejected it, requesting a resend, and we tried this 5 times
and the mouse still didn't catch on, and we've given up.
The question this poses is, why doesn't your mouse like the data we're
sending it?
