Hi,
I'm working with the assabet + neponset board. We have installed the
kernel version 2.4.6 with pathes for assabet: diff-2.4.6-rmk1-np1 and
patch-2.4.6-rmk1.
We want to have the wireless networking extensions up and running but
at the moment we reach the following error message when we do iwconfig:
- no wireless extensions
We use the wvlan_cs.o module cross-compiled from pcmcia package
pcmcia-cs-3.1.27 and wireless tools wireless_tools.21. We load this
module at run time with the following command:
insmod wvlan_cs.o channel = 2 network_name = ANY
We also modified the pcmcia configuration files: wireless.opts,
config.opts, network.opts for Lucent Wavelan card.
Any suggestions?
