Monta vista have some soft realtime patches for 2.4.something. The KURT team (soft realtime) have a set of ARM patches for 2.4 courtesy of Thomas Gleixner who is intending to use this version for real. (I can put you in touch) Redsonic have a 2.2 kernel with hard real time support which I have on a CD on my desk waiting to get evaluated. And a german outfit who's name escapes me were threateneing to have something working in Q4 on arm. Lineo said ( back in august): We currently intend to port RTAI to the ARM7/9 platforms next, and I anticipate that this effort will start in the next few weeks. saying that bernard Kuhn was the engineer scheduled to be doing it. So, so far as I know the KURT stuff and monta vista stuff are the only ones that work on 2.4 kernel right now. No-one has hard-real time support working but both Redsonic and Lineo are working on it. I stopped messing with this as it ceased to be urgent, but I'll be trying the KURT stuff out soon and can report back.
