Hi! Doing some suspend - resume test on a IPAQ 3630 kernel 2.4.13-ac4-rmk1, putting the iPAQ in deep sleep mode, it can stay there aproxmiatly 10 hours before the battery is totally dead, which make me believe that all devices are not powered off correctly, or set in low power consumption mode.
I dont have any easy way to measure the power consumption on the iPAQ, let's supose that in worst case the iPAQ consumes ~ 5mA in sleep mode (but i expect ~ 2mA) , with posible devices shutted off, and the full charged have battery have ~ 1A/h, that the iPAQ should manage to stay in sleep mode aproximatly 200 hours == ~ 8.3 days. However the iPAQ I have is quite old, the battery may be bad, but if the battery is dead only after 10 hours in sleep mode, nearly all devices may be powered "on" after suspend. On the GraphicsClient+ I manage to measure the power consumption in sleep mode, it was only ~ 2mA on 5V (doing all settings correctly). So, anyone knows what i can expect from the iPAQ ??, wich devices are possible to power off, or configure in low power mode,.. etc ??? /Benny _______________________________________________ http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm Please visit the above address for information on this list.
