Hi I have used both the lucent ornicco wlan card and the aironet PCM-340 card on arm-linux. If u want some sort of ability to change transmit power, I would suggest to go for the aironet one (check out the latest ones like LMC-342 i think). And yes, both of them are PCMCIA and have source available.
