Why creating a new one? You would have to recompile everything you might
want to use. There are some ARM precompiled ramdisks in the net, e.g. from
the LART project http://www.lart.tudelft.nl, or from the "wearable group"
http://www.wearablegroup.org .

The usual LINUX stuff as demonstrated by the base package of your favourite
distribution. But you don't have to re-invent the wheel again and again
every time you want to build a car.

You can download sources from every LINUX distributor (SuSE, Red Hat,
Mandrake, ...). My source code source of choice id http://www.debian.org
(language chooser is at the bottom, left hand side).
