I do not know the Yopy, but since you mention changing row/column values, I
guess you might have replaced 2 128Mbit-SDRAMs with 2
256MBit-SDRAMs. 

In this case, apart from MDCNFG, you might also need to halve the
refresh-rate (value in bits [15:4] of the MDREFR-Register) to account for 8K of
refresh-adresses rather than 4K with the 128Mbit types.
