Hi,

I am using linux-2.4.6 with patch-2.4.6-rmk1.gz and the linux patch from Ray
(followed the instructions on Roland Seuhs web page). Thanks to the hermit
patch from Jeroen Roosen the TE28F320C3 flash on my CDB89712 compatible
board are unlocked and the kernel and ramdisk are installed ok.
Now I am trying to make a flash file system, and I compiled the tools from
mtd, I needed the unlock program to unlock the mtd character device (I have
/dev/mtd0-3).
Only unlock of character device mtd0 worked, here is the screen dump of
proc/mtd:
# more /proc/mtd
dev: size erasesize name
mtd0: 00800000 00020000 "flash"
mtd1: 0000c000 00000010 "SRAM"
mtd2: 00800000 00020000 "Physically mapped flash"

My question is how can I make use of mtd3 to store a file system, how can I
specify where in the flash memory this partition will be?

Any information on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
