Sorry I am a bloody newbie to linux and arm-linux, i have been working with linux and arm-linux for about 2 month now.

If you're getting oops's then there is a problem with your kernel configuration or drivers or something. It will take much more detail than this description to determine the problem. As RMK has said many times on this list: use ksymoops to attach names to the instruction addresses in the oops backtrace so that we can see where the oops is coming from. If you do not use ksymoops, then do the same thing by hand, using /proc/ksyms and System.map.
