Please can someone help with this..i have scoured readme's all night to
no avail...trying to complete setup of armlinux.

I am following Paul Vigays instructions (part 39) for installing
armlinux onto hard drive - I have got to stage where I issue command
'mknod /dev/hda3 b 3 3' which works ok (floppy mounts)

then mke2fs /dev/hda3' gives the following errors

'mke2fs 1.04 for EXT2 FS 0.5b 95/08/98
ext2fs_check_if_mount
stat : no such file/dir while checking wether /dev/hda3 is mounted
/dev/hda3 invalid argument while setting up superblock'

can anyone help ?

Setup is installing onto a fugitsu 1.2 gig (0.2gig ADFS, followed by
standard table, native and swap(50meg))...using latest(?) resources as
downloaded as softlinked file from armlinux ftpsites (i.e. kernel, boot
and secondary disks).

Its going onto a SARPC (36+2Mb) with simtec ide/4.1 gig secondary drive
(not attempting to get armlinux to read this but machine boots up from
it).

additionally I found I can only get this far if I unplug my cdrom (ide
slaved(?) to HD) - should this be so...will it effect this ?

thanks
