Remove /etc/init.d/hwclock.sh and /etc/rc.boot/0setserial (it's proablly
better to make them empty files).

Edit /etc/init.d/network to have a correct network configuration.

There are lots of devices missing from /dev, and (currently) lots of
packages are missing including X, ppp, lynx, fakeroot and boot-floppies.

BTW, don't run hwclock.
