Just one point. The rpms on the rawhide site are really, really old...
There have been a number of changes, especially to the glibc stuff.
Since you are using the glibc from rawhide, I'll assume you have a
versioned glibc. For a much more recent version of glibc, with versioning
enabled, give the following a try:
ftp.nw.carleton.ca/pub/winder-testing/pre_titanVI/RPMS/glibc-*
