Hi all,

I'm have problems compiling kernels recently. I have a running, self
compiled 2.2.7 here so I have been able to compile working kernels
once. I've tried different kernels, binutils and gcc-versions all in
compination but nothing helps. I tried switching to the new 2.3.33-kernel
but that won't work either on my RPC with ARM710.

The kernels all compile fine without problems and are booting. But when
the first user program (init) is started, I get endless messages of
"permission fault on section..." whith adresses counting up from somewhere
around 0xCxxxxxxx (kernel space).

Does anyone know what went wrong?? I suspected constants.h giving wrong
values, but it seems to be ok.

TIA.

Stefan
