I'm trying to build:
binutils-2.9.5.0.33.tar.gz
and:
gcc-2.95.3-0.20000401.0.src.rpm
I've configured and build binutils as:
../configure --target=armv4l-inet-linux --prefix=/opt/INETnewgnu
I've configured and half build gcc as:
../configure --prefix=/opt/INETnewgnu --target=armv4l-inet-linux
--with-cpu=strongarm110 --enable-shared --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld
Configure fails in libiberty w/
/opt/INETnewgnu/armv4l-inet-linux/bin/ld: unrecognised emulation mode: elf32arm
Supported emulations: armelf_linux armelf_linux26 armelf
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure: failed program was:
Theses magic encantations worked last time I built gcc et.al.
Any clues where I went wrong ?
