I've recently installed ARMLinux on my SARPC. The installation went fine and
I managed to login OK.
Now, a few weeks later, I'm not getting any useful screen display. All that's
on the monitor is a regular pattern of dots, fairly widely spaced. I know
Linux is booting OK, because I can login as root when all the disc acitivity
has finished, and can issue commands and see their effects (eg shutdown :-),
but nothing is displayed on the screen, no matter which virtual console I go
to.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and what a solution might be?

TIA,
 Jonathan.
