So it does! Thanks. That's the first lossless encoder I've tried that
"just works" with Ardour's float files.  Well, aside from gzip and
bzip2 of course, but from a quick test, wavpack encodes much faster
and compresses much better.  Decoding is slower than gzip but much
faster than bunzip2.
