I'm not to sure about the OOP comment. A few years ago I would have agreed, but c++ compilers have got a lot better recently, and Apple's reincarnation of objective-c might make that a viable platform. I would say that most DSP code written today is in a OO style, whether it is actually in a nativly OO language or not. DSP code, and especially plugins do lend themselves very well to OO style programming. AFAIK all VST plugins are written in c++. - Steve
