Salem Radio Labs, the Research and Development arm of Salem Communications, is pleased to announce the initial beta release of the Rivendell Radio Automation System.
Rivendell aims to be a complete radio broadcast automation solution, with facilities for the acquisition, management, scheduling and playout of audio content. At present, the following components have been implemented: RDAdmin - System configuration and management tool RDLogEdit - Program log editing tool RDLibrary - Audio acquisition and management tool, for maintaining a library of audio content RDAirPlay - On-air audio playout application RDCatch - Automatic audio recorder specifically optimized for simultaneous capture of multiple long-form audio programs Rivendell is released under the GNU Public License.
