There are hosts which cannot use (white-)spaces at all when communicating with LADSPA plugins, an example is Pd. In Pd at least there is the alternative way to communicat which is by using numbered portnames like "#1", "#2", ... ciao -- Frank Barknecht _ ______footils.org__
