Just the plugin - INTEGER is a hint to the host that the plugin will only use integer values - the plugin is requied to accept all values, and will round to the nearest, or whatever is appropriate. In different cases the plugin might want to round to -Inf or nearest, or different maode for positive and negative, so it makes sense for the host to preserve the fractions until as a late as possible. - Steve
