After a year of installations on Slakware, I finally decided to move to SUSE 9.2 and it is brilliant. All audio apps work first time on the default kernel installation - no patches or anything else required yet. Jackd perfect no x-runs yet - Everything works and is easily configurable so after the initial install one can get working immediately and make soundz?
It makes the world of difference.
