when I used OSS/free I had to get some special file to let it
see my pnp card. I now use OSS and it is worth the money.
No problems with my pnp card.
You need to supply more info about your problem, but to begin, do you
know if the pnp card is being detected by the operating system? can you
play other sorts of files other than midi on your card?
I have a SB AWE 32 PnP, and My redhat 5.1 doesn't allow me to play midi
files with the wave table of my sound card...
