Hi all,
I just installed RH 5.2, which has kernel 2.0.36. This kernel has a awe
driver already on the source tree, but it doesn't seem to work as well
as a patched 2.0.3[<6]. sfxload works fine, but the only player I can
seem to use is the playmidi that came with this distribution of RH.
drvmidi, timidity, and the xmp mod player no longer work. They don't
give errors, they just sit there.
Can I patch this kernel with Takashi Iwai's AWEsome AWE driver, or is
there something else I need to do?
BTW, I have a SB32 PNP w/ 8 megs if that makes a difference.
