Until this announcement I thought I would have to do Vortex2 cards (TB
Montego, Diamond MX300) because they were supported by 4Front.  But this
is the first time I've seen mention of supported 3D Audio under linux.
The Vortex chips use the competing format, A3D, which sounds better but
unfortunately is on the way out since M$ is now directly supporting EAD
that the Live! uses.

Amusingly, I just upgraded my non-pnp awe32 (from Fall, '94!) to awe64
gold (noticeably better sound) a few weeks ago.
