Even for GPL code? I have no problem either way, as we never guarantee a module ABI. Hence, if it is exported, there's no guarantee that it will exist or even act the same in later versions. Kernel modules (internal, external, GPL or not) don't have the luxury of a stable ABI as user space does. But I'll take this as a Nack.
