If this project ends up to DKMS then you can say goodbye for any widespread use. I have been following this project in hope that we get finally native filesystem to kernel what have similar if not better feature set than zfs.

I do not use and never will zfs because it is not in kernel. No matter how good it is. Same deal with bcachefs.

Maybe you should find some front(man/woman/person) who deals pull requests and other communication. You clearly cannot do both, code and communicate. And there is nothing wrong about that. Not everyone is good with communication. I will base my claim to what I have seen here. Drama after drama and very stupid reasons.

Stock or your tree is not really a problem unless you make it a problem. Because if bcachefs ever see widespread use, it will be very common that there is users who use very different versions.

You have to learn that in life, you must sometimes bend and just take it rather than try to fight back against everything.
