At� hoje eu s� consegui um programa... era .sh N�o consigo instalar programas .tar.gz, quer dizer, at� uma certa parte... eu escrevo: tar -zxvf nome-doarqivo.tar.gz cd nome-do-arquivo ./configure E at� a� tudo bem... mas qnd coloco depois "make", ele fala q desconhece o comando ou coisa parecida, e no "make install" a mesma coisa...

Confira se nas mensagens retornadas pelo ./configure tem alguma informa��o sobre o que est� errado. Se n�o conseguir identificar, mande estas mensagens pra gente tentar verificar. Mande tamb�m a mensagem de erro do make.
Bom, como n�o faz mal certificar-se, d� uma olhada se em seu sistema (ali�s, qual sua distro, vers�o, etc?) est�o instalados o make, o binutils e o gcc.
A prop�sito, o que mesmo voc� est� tentando compilar?

Uso o Conectiva 8 com instala��o padr�o, isso aconteceu no kde 3.alguma coisa, e no
Shell - konsole.
Depois disso o "make" nem o "make install" funcionam...
Acho q est� faltando alguma coisa no meu computador, sei l�...
