Hi list, I've been using BTRFS for years on a whole lot of machines witch complex configurations (in RAID, over LUKS, with bcache etc) and was happy I never lost ONE byte.
Well, since I upgraded my main laptop to Arch Linux kernel 5.2, I IMMEDIATELY got my laptop's SSD BTRFS FS (over LUKS) corrupt, and have to rebuild and restore it. Today, same machine, but this time my external BTRFS (over LUKS) backup USB HDD went corrupt the same. The first logged messages looks the same in both cases : « Parent transid verify failed on (huge number) wanted 7684 found 7499. » (This time - or similar numbers) So I'm under the impression that either my laptop's RAM is dying, or something is *very* broke in BTRFS in kernel 5.2.
