There is a debian package for ud, which is the program you are talking about
I think. I've installed and its nice =] the maintainer is Fredrik Hallenberg
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, and I'm sure if you asked nicely, he'd tell you where
he got the source. Or you could always just install the .deb from some
debian mirror....
