Anyone ever toyed with the idea of implemented VMS-style ACLs (Access Control Lists) under Linux? I've tossed the idea around some and it's be well received for the most part. The one difference however is that it has been recommended that rather than having a special ACL editor, the ACLs could be stored in plain-text files.
