I now have dial on demand and ip masq working (thanks for the help) but
now a couple of questions:
1) How do I set the time-out on the diald?
2) Can I set my ip masq'ing machine up as a caching DNS and will that
speed it up?
3) How can I tell if it is connected without trying to ping a machine
on the internet because of course that makes it dial out and get
connected?
4)I put all the masq'ing stuff in my rc.local because I thought that
would make it start up at boot time but it does not so I wrote a script
to do it but I have to log in as root after reboot and run that script.
How do I make it run the stuff I need at boot time?
