I badly need to configure my sendmail (which isn't using a relay host) to
rewite both my hostname and username to that of my actual email address.

I'm currently using a fairly stock-standard RH5.0/5.1 sendmail.cf config
file (with one or two minor tweaks).

Basically, I want any From: address on email that is generated from my user
account to always have it (re)generated by sendmail, so that looks like
what it does now, which is that of my _email_ address (not my user account).

In an attempt to get the domain name rewritten, I tried this in my
/etc/sendmail.cf file:

# who I masquerade as (null for no masquerading) (see also $=M)
DMusq.edu.au

This doesn't seem to work. :(

I just haven't got the time to go looking for and pouring through screeds
of sendmail docs just to get done what should (ought) to be a fairly
straightforward thing to do.

Many, many thanks in advance for any good leads to how to get this working.

Cheers .
