Boot disk hangs

Hi I tried to install redhat linux 5.1 yesterday ,but when i want to
boot the bootdisk, it hangs after probing the floppy drive.First i
thought maybe it is because of the network card but even after i removed
the network card it still won't boot.I've tried the bare.i and net.i
images and i'm using Pentium 2 350Mhz with a BXpro 440BX motherboard
with built in sound and vga card.
