I had a similar problem,

Use XF86Setup, choose the "ATI xpert @ work" card from the card list (its
right at the bottom of the ATI section), set the correct monitor appropriate
resolution.

I still have a problem with colours in X, When I view JPEG files with xv or
Netscape navigator the colours are not correct. Its probably something to do
with the colour map but I haven't really got a clue whats going on. If
anybody could help me with this I would be grateful. (RedHat 5.2, ATI xpert
@ work, X - 3.3.2)

Cheers.

Subject: Resolution

I cannot get my resolution any better thatn 640x480. I am running Red Hat
5.2 , my video card was detected during install, loaded the Mach64 driver.
If I try to run any higher resolution my machine freezes up, I have an ATI
3d rage pro

Thanks

Leo
