I have many partitions on my Linux harddrive as follows
/dev/sdb1 / ext2 defaults,errors=remount-ro
 0 1
/dev/sdb5 none swap sw
 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults
 0 0
/dev/sdb6 /usr ext2 defaults
 0 2
/dev/sdb7 /home ext2 defaults
 0 2
/dev/sdb8 /opt ext2 defaults
 0 2
/dev/sdb9 /var ext2 defaults
 0 2
/dev/sdb10 /tmp ext2 defaults
 0 2
/dev/sdb3 /sto ext2 defaults
 0 2

Is it possible to concatenate partitions sdb9 and sdb10 to one partition without
affecting the other partitions?

Thanks
