Uninstalling Perl in RH 5.2

Hi all,
        I wish to uninstall perl of 5.2 and reinstall perl of RH 5.1. This
I require to install the majordomo. The 'rpm-e perl' command is not
uninstalling the perl and then 'rpm -i perl.XX.XX is not installing as
newer version exists in the box. Any help Pl.
