Hello,
I've got slackware linux 3.6 running kernel 2.2.5 on the second
partition of an hp vectra vl3. I'm using a dos 6.22, although I've also
tried this with the 95 protected mode ms-dos mode, and command prompt
only, with identical results. I boot the machine to dos, switch to my
loadlin directory, issue the following command:
loadlin c:\loadlin\vmlinuz root=/dev/hda2
and get the following error, no matter if I'm using a bootdisk or 95
dos:
Your current configuration needs interception of "setup.s,"
but the setup code in your image file is *very old* (or wrong)
please use BIOSINTV/REALBIOS or try another image file.
please enter name of kernel image file followed by optional commandline
parameters.
Can anyone help me with this one?
Thanks.
Dave.
