It's funny how a message like this get's posted about every week and a
half or so.  In /etc, there is a file called securetty.  Those are all the
terminals that roon can login from.  Add some more to the list...

ls /dev/tty* /dev/pty* > /etc/securetty
              ^^^^^^^ this is the new naming convention for pseudo
terminals with the new kernels.
