This is my generic reply to all kernel 2.1.xxx related questions :
First, try with a 2.0.xx Kernel (actually latest : 2.0.35). If the
problem persists, it's REALLY a problem.
Otherwise, it's just a development issue to be eventually notified to
the kernel developpers (or try and fix it yourself...)
