Hi linuxers,
many friends/relatives were interested in Linux as soon as I presented
it to them. They are ready to try it (to get out of microsoft's world),
but some of them are not ready to face too many problems and might be
discouraged by a too complicated system (to install and configure).
Which version of Linux do you think is more appropriate to novices ?
What about the others ?
A second question is for me: I'm looking for an equivalent of MS Office
for RH Linux (I've just heard of StarOffice & Applixware), free is
preferred. Which one is better, faster, easier... ?
In my last question, I'm calling to your technical skills: I've
installed X-plorer using RPM, but when i try to execute it, I get the
message:
can't resolve symbol '--ti10QTabDialog'
segmentation fault (core dumped)
Do you see what is wrong ?
