you have a .in address - indian right ?
check out the "linux on a floppy" issue given out sometime in late 1998 by
PC Quest .
yes, the others are right - the ramdisk is first used to mount whatever we
need and then the whole usual initialization proceeds.
another point - there is not question of not locating the "HOWTO" files.
if the particular file is not there in the system go to any linux site and
search under LDP or HOWTO (say : http://sunsite.unc.edu )
